"THE FLORIDA FANTASY PHOTO SHOOT OUT" weekend to be held on April 12th and 13th in Sarasota, Fl. will be the ultimate portfolio building event for both Models and Photographers interested in working in the Swimwear, Lingerie and Fitness Apparel industies for catalog, magazine editorial and advertising assignments.
This event is being produced as a 2 day shoot in 2 amazing locations in Sarasota, Fl. which will include seminars and workshops lectured by professionals with extensive booking experience specifically in the Swimwear, Lingerie and Fitness markets.
If your interest as a model or photographer is to work and establish yourself in these markets, than this weekend has been created just for you.
This photo shoot / workshop is being produced by a collective group of professionals with over 20 years of experience producing photo shoots for some of the worlds largest catalog houses and publishing companies including Dennis publishing ( Maxim Magazine ) Neiman Marcus and Conde Nast Publications to name a few.
Every detail of this 2 day event has been planned by our team for your creative success in accomplishing simply amazing photography. Resources will include a superb ensemble of makeup artists and hairstylists under the direction of celebrity makeup artist T.J. Hutchinson. Our philosophy for accomplishing great photography is centered on knowing that you have a great team of makeup artists and hairstylists working on every phase of your 2 day shoot.
Additional resources will include a approx. 20,000 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor studio, fully equipped with a huge indoor CYC. and a magnificent beach mansion with all the amenities. Both locations will offer an amazing choice of backgrounds for both the models and photographers to enjoy.
There will be a 2 to 1 ratio of models to photographers eliminating CLUSTER shooting. Each photographer will have many models to work with 1 on 1 throughout the day and vice versa.
Your trigger fingers will need a rest, Oh and make sure to check your shutter curtains! That can be a real drag.
If Glamour and Maxim style of modeling and photography is your passion, this weekend will focus on using those styles to achieve bookings for swimwear and lingerie catalogs, magazine editorial for both the mens and womens markets and how to land advertising campaigns.
Space will be very limited for this event. The weekend will also host a poster shoot competition for both models and photographers attending. The winners of this competition will be paid an Industry Market day rate of $1,250.00 each. That's refreshing. End usage for the posters will be for booth presentation at the Swim Show convention in Miami. Rules and regulations to enter the contest will be forwarded to you by email with the terms and conditions of the shoot. Winners will be chosen on Sunday, April 13th and paid Sunday, April 13th.
